You could’ve been a supporter of any football team, you could’ve been, you could’ve been, you could’ve been You could’ve been following the champions of the Champions League, you could’ve been, you could’ve been, you could’ve been What’s all this stuff you’re giving us, there’s just one team for me, and that’s the town where I come from In Brom-er-ley You could’ve been crammed inside a stadium, fifty thousand others there, you could’ve been, you could’ve been, you could’ve been. When you’ve become the plaything of a multi-billionaire, you could’ve been, you could’ve been, you could’ve been. Well there has to be a hitch, cos nothing ever comes for free, and you can’t put a price on us In Brom-er-ley You could be Europe bound, for Italy or Spain But what’s the point when all you have to do is join the crew to have some fun in BR2 You could’ve been tuning in to Sky to watch your team play every week, you could’ve been, you could’ve been, you could’ve been. And hear a team of football pundits offer up a bland critique, that’s not what I want to see. What’s all the fuss, oh do shut up, there’s just one team for me, and that’s the town where I come from In Brom-er-ley Obviously -Bromley FC. Walking down the Masons Hill to Bromley Just follow me.

Super Nic 02:04
Now he goes window cleaning to earn an honest bob, but not so long ago Hayes Lane was where he had his job. He’d tear defences wide apart, his goals were like a work of art, he even broke the Wombles’ heart Super Nic McDonnell He jumped and latched on Woodo’s cross and headed home the ball. When it comes to screwing KFC, it’s right up there with Ryan Hall The boys played on with grit and pride, proved they were the better side, then the whole of Bromley cried “Super Nic McDonnell” He scored a goal at Gillingham that really was a treat, that you’d have sworn that super Nic had strapped explosives to his feet. He slipped into the final third, shot and had the final word, then the travelling army purred “Super Nic McDonnell” His goal to games played ratio was as good as any pro’s, and Super Nic would always keep the opposition on their toes. He’d use his strength to win the ball, without it looking hard at all, and make his marker look a fool Super Nic McDonnell He said goodbye to Bromley at the end of his career, but when he comes home to see the lads, he always gets a cheer. So if you are a Bromley Fan, and see him sitting in the stand, just shake him firmly by the hand – he’s Super Nic McDonnell

Nothing compares to the terror that reigns – Bromley guarding a slender old lead in a game, and it’s late in the match, you gotta switch with the minimum of fuss. We’re going 4-5-1 my son, we’re gonna park the bus. Make sure the back four are fast on their feet, cos when the midfield opposing you are staring at defeat, they’re gonna go long – they’re going to play it over the top of us. You’ve got to chase down the long balls, you’ve got to park the bus. One big attacker holding up the ball - a box to box midfielder giving it his all, covering defenders for strength at the back, and linking the play on the counter attack. This ain’t the way Bromley usually play, but “needs must” when you’re chasing the points, that’s what they say…. we’re gonna be doing it anyway. We’re gonna do what’s right for us, we’re gonna park the bus. We don’t need no drama or fuss, we’re gonna park the bus. And if you think you’ve got us sussed, we’re gonna park the bus.

Bromley Aces 02:34
There’s a place in England that I treasure The people come from miles around for business and for pleasure Where would they be headed when they flock to this oasis? They’re walking down the Masons Hill to see the Bromley Aces Ah me lads etc… Here we are on every other weekend Calling in for a pint or two and ending up in the deep end Falling out of the Bricklayer’s Arms on a semi regular basis And walking down the Masons Hill to see the Bromley Aces (you know the rest)
